Today our record came out and which means we will begin to have the craziest time of our lives again. It's a little scary but at the same time I can't wait to do everything we're about to do. I will not sleep until Sunday I believe. It's gonna be nuts. Tomorrow we tape the Tonight Show and the next day we will play Good Morning America. Then we come to Chicago and tape something for WGN, a local TV station, and then we have a singing at the Downer's Grove Best Buy. Then we're right back on a plane that night to San Fran to play a show the next day. Kinda hard to wrap m head around all this. Anyways if you've heard our record I hope you enjoy it. We are so proud.

We've been in LA since Thursday. I haven't made the time to make a new post since I've been back in America. I have so many pictures to share. Tonight are the VMA's. I wonder how it will go. Should be fun. Anyways that's it. I'm out.
Right now this is all I got. I am super stoked to get back home. It has been amazing playing over here. A big thanks to these countries welcoming us with amazing support. Even Reading and Leeds. So what if you threw stuff at us. That shit was fun!

We just played some festival in Germany and when we were walking back to our dressing room from the stage the security guard said in his German trying to speak English voice..
Security Guard: "Ah you're exhausted but satisfied!"

The thing about festivals over here in Europe is that they can be very muddy. So this is a picture of me wearing what the Brits call "Wellies" or Wellington boots. They for sure came in handy. Leeds was awesome even though we got stuff thrown at us on stage. Good times. More pics to come soon from Reading. Did you know that we got to play with Metallica? It was weird.

The past couple days we played festivals with Sigur Ros. Totally a band I honestly have never gotten into but everyone always says they are amazing live. Well everyone who told me that was 100% right. It was amazing. Tried to take a good amount of pictures but they all pretty much look the same. Here you go Nick.
What about I almost forgot about the video for Natural Disaster that we just made. That's pretty ridiculous. Anyways we made a video. There were seriously like 90 people involved. We shot it in this warehouse in downtown LA and what was really messed up is that there were 90 people which most of them had to use the bathroom especially after lunch who weren't able to because all 5 bathrooms were messed up. It sucked. It was fun making the video. We worked with Shane Drake. He made our last video. Anyways I don't have many pictures but here are 3. I can't wait to see this video when it's done. We've never done anything like this before. It will be interesting to see how it comes out.
Oh yeah people got towed because they weren't supposed to park there because of the shoot. I found it entertaining. People we're getting upset which is retarded because there was a sign there for 2 days straight.

Tom is back there somewhere walking down the "alley"Today we're in Stockholm, Sweden. I am so exhausted. Flying from LA to London to here is crazy. I feel really confused. Sweden is pretty sweet. In my time of pure exhaustion I went out walking around the streets of Stockholm. I was hoping to find our most beloved American coffee shop Starbucks only to find out that there is no existence of Starbucks in Sweden. I couldn't at all be mad about it. I kinda made me laugh. I think its the coolest thing actually. I AM SO DELIRIOUS!

This is what the mud did to our dressing room.Remember me? Whats up?! Right now I am in Minnesota spending sometime with my girl. It's nice. I love summer. I feel like every place in the world rules during the summer. Patio seating at restaurants is awesome as well as all the summer fests and events that go on. No other place in the world beats Chicago in the summer though.
There are a lot of things in the works right now. One of them is that our record is finished and will be out September 23rd. I don't think I've ever been this excited about a Plain White T's record ever before. Our single "Natural Disaster" will hit radio this week I believe. I have a lot of faith in this record. I am just super excited and can't wait for people to hear it. I'm proud of everyone in the band and I know this is best record we've ever made. If no one else agrees that's ok.
I also can't get enough of that new Academy Is track "About A Girl" I think its awesome. If you haven't heard it go check it out.
Yesterday the Kennedy Family invited us to the Kennedy Compound and took us sailing. Here are a few pics from the time spent with them. It was such an honor to be invited by them. Pretty crazy. Bobby Kennedy's wife Ethel hung out with us all day. How insane is that?! All of the kids were amazing and had a ton of questions. I found myself swimming in the ocean. Anyways I don't really have much else to say except how amazing of an opportunity it was to experience everything that went on yesterday. I might need to buy a sailboat sometime soon.
