Grammy Day

This was Grammy Day. These are pretty much the only pictures I was able to get he entire day. Most of the day was spent being really hungry because things were so busy we weren't able to eat. Anyways these are pictures from us leaving the hotel. On our way to the Grammys. Our good friend Mike Venezia was there to capture the madness.

Grammy Weekend Pt. 2

The second night we attend some parties. One of them being the Grammy nominee celebration. There we were able to get our medals and also take the nominee picture. This is the moment when it hit us that we were really nominated for 2 Grammies. I kinda got a little mad but then Tom and I hugged it out. I love these guys.

Grammy Weekend Pt. 1

The first night we got to LA we went to a Grammy gifting. At the gifting Dave met his idol Jason Bateman. Dave loves Arrested Development so I think he was pretty psyched. Anyways we played some Rockband which I am horrible at and then we went to dinner. It was a good night. It was nice to be in America.

Babyshambles

One cool thing I got to do in Paris was go to the Babyshambles show. Got there kinda late and missed the songs I really like but it was still an experience. I've just always wanted to see how crazy Pete Doherty is in person. It was pretty much everything I expected. He held it together pretty much but he was still crazy. We are on the same label as them in the UK and got a chance to go backstage. It sucked. So I left. I hoped to meet the Doherty. But I found out the next day that he was way out of his mind after the show. Good times in Paris.

Paris

Anyways Paris was good. Glad to have left though. We had been there for many days. I got to go to this store called Colette everyone talks about. It was a pretty cool store. Didn't get anything though. Simple Plan came to Paris the day we were leaving but we got to hang and go to dinner. Good dudes. Good times.

One day while reading NME magazine I stumble across this interesting looking guy. I though who the hell is this and why is he holding a rabbit!? He kinda looks retarded. Anwyays Tom bought the record. Its a pretty good record. Not OMG the best thing since "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" but it's what I've been listening to lately. I like it. One day I hope to meet this guy.

Amsterdam

This is probably the coolest city I've ever been to. Everyone rides a bike everywhere. The streets are cool. People live in weird house boats. Craziness. Didn't get to see too much of it though because we had so much press to do. NO! I did not go to the red light district! Tried to but it was too annoying. Plus don't really wanna go there.

Brussels

Never been to Belgium. Sucks I don't have any pictures of the crowd. It was the best crowd we've played for so far on this tour. Pretty shocking. Also it was the first day of the other half of this tour. Now The Fold and The Spill Canvas are out with us while we tour mainland Europe. Anyways we went out that night. No one could figure out what they wanted to do so we all split up and somehow all wound up back together at some hooka bar.

Just another day in Paris

Yesterday Tom had to play Delilah with a contestant of this show. It's basically the American Idol of France. It was kinda crazy. Not being from France I didn't realize how big of a deal this really was. Basically if Tom played on TV with a contestant from American Idol thats how big this was. Whatever you get it. This was the last day of our UK tour. Live Nation was there filming the whole show. I don't know why. I wish the show would have been a little better. Oh well. It was fun being with Boys Like Girls and Cartel. We will see them in Australia though.

I miss the snooze button

YES YES YES!!! I know! I have been a slacker on this thing lately. We have been so busy with press and other things. Today I slept for like 3 hrs. Pretty brutal. We are in Paris and in about 20mins we are gonna head to Brussels. This is new for us. It's all an experience. Anyways LOST premiered yesterday. Can't wait to watch it. I got the download from iTunes. If you aren't a Lost fan then become one. For real. It's good stuff. I will have some updates ASAP. There's some cool stuff you all need to see.
